Edna left Liverpool England on May 21, 1914 aboard the SS Baltic with her mother Julia Annie (Powell) Lamb, and her younger sister Gladys Julia Lamb. The stated last place of residence at the time of the departure was listed as Maybury, England. (Perhaps Marbury?) They were to join Julia's husband Frederick Lamb who resided at 363 Cass Ave, Detroit, Michigan. Arrived Port of New York on May 30, 1914. The birth place for all 3 of them was listed as Lockings, Ireland. (Information per passenger lists.)

Edna's place of birth is listed as Wantage, England on her US Naturalization papers, not Ireland as the Passenger List showed. The 1920 US Census record shows Edna, her parents, and sister all were born in England. 1920 showed them living at 1310 15th St, Detroit, Michigan. Her father was a welder working for Henry Ford in Wayne, MI. (I can't find any record of him after the 1927 St. Petersburg, Florida city directory showing him, Julia, and Edna living together.)

Married Benjamin James Bump on June 20, 1942 in Middleboro, Massachusetts.
