Mr. Larson was born in Dilworth, Minnesota, to parents, the late Mr. Albert N. Larson and the late Mrs. Alice Halvorson Larson. A hardworking and dedicated family man, Mr. Larson married the love of his life, Mrs. Juanita Gevedon Larson on July 28, 1962, to whom he was married to for 40 loving years, until her passing in 2002. Born to serve his country, Mr. Larson was an active serviceman in the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Larson loved his USMC and bleed red, white and blue. After his retirement from the Marine Corp, he enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family. He impacted many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Larson is survived by his children, Karen Kelly (Gary), Christopher Larson and Natasha Larson; grandson, Christopher Kelly (Sonya); great-grandchildren, Lauren Kelly and Alex Westbrook (Blake); great great grandchild, Laken Westbrook.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Larson was preceded in death by his great grandsons, Christopher and Clayton Kelly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Dallas First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jeremy Williams officiating.
Mr. Larson will Lie In State at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery in Dallas, Ga.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home.
