Moorehead Rites Held in Montgomery
Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Lavenia Moorehead, 88, of Aliceville, Ala., were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pine Bluff Baptist Church in Montgomery County.
Mrs. Moorehead, a former resident of Kosciusko, was the widow of Charlie M. Moorehead. She was a native of Montgomery County & a member of the Pine Bluff Baptist Church. She died Oct 15 at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Ala., following an illness of several months.
She leaves 4 daughters, Miss Larece Moorehead, Mrs. Pearl Hayes of Alicesville, Mrs Judy Ruth of Aberdeen & Mrs. J.B. Frazier of Wall Lake, Mich.
She also leaves a son, Earl Moorehead of Alicesville; a sister, Mrs. Martha A. Wright of Stephenville, Tex.; 15 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
The Rev. J.M Jacobs & the Rev. Sam Junkins were the officiating ministers.
Burial was in Pine Bluff Cemetery directed by Nowell Funeral Home.
