Clarence Eugene Holder, Jr. (C.E. or Bubba), age 69 of Tivoli went to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. He was born July 27, 1951 in Cuero, Tx. to the late Clarence Eugene Holder Sr. and Viva Marie Holder of Seadrift.
He married Anita Garza on May 12, 1981. He is survived by his two sons, Chris Holder and his wife, Gannon, of Colorado and Justin Holder of Tivoli; two brothers, David Holder and wife, Barbara, of North Carolina and John Holder and wife, Debra, of Floresville, Tx. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Holder, and his parents.
When he was younger C.E. worked at Griffee's Grocery Store, did road construction in Pearsall, Tx, and worked for Parker Brother's Dredging Company. He worked for Brown & Root at Union Carbide for many years. In the past, he enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. C.E. was a kind, easy-going, and loving person and will be missed.
Graveside funeral service will be Sunday, Feb. 28th at 11:00AM at the Tivoli Cemetery on Landgraf Rd, Tivoli,Tx.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to New Century Hospice-Victoria (361-572-0622), Port Lavaca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (361-552-3741), or Alzheimer's Association.
