Ron was born on June 2, 1935, in Oshkosh, Herbert and Theresa (Pollack) Burdick. He married Marjorie Lutgen Frank on September 26, 1953.
He served in the US National Guard. Ron enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and playing poker and darts. He and his wife lovingly owned and operated B's Ceramics; he also spent many years working at Universal Foundry, and then finished out his working career at Pizza Hut. Ron loved people, being around family, friends, strangers, and helping them out any way he could.
Ron is survived by his children; grandchildren; great-grandchild ; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie; two brothers, Herbert and Robert; and a loving cat, Mandy.
A Memorial Service will be held at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon Street, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., with visitation for family and friends from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. Ron's family would like to thank Bethel Home for the care given to Ron; he said they always treated him like a king.
