Mrs. Prewitt Funeral services for Mrs. Fairlena Jones Prewitt, 77, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday from the Williams and Lord Chapel, the Rev. Charlie Hood officiating. Burial will be in Itta Bena Cemetery. Mrs. Prewitt, who died early today at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, was born in Arkansas, but had lived in Vicksburg about three years. She was formerly from Itta Bena and was a member of Sidon Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Yancey A. Prewitt; seven sons, T. A. and H. R., both of Hollandale; C. A. Prewitt, Shreveport, Y. E. Prewitt, Dallas, Z. A. Prewitt, Greenwood, H. D. Prewitt of Vicksburg, B. M. Prewitt of Brook-haven; three daughters, Mrs. D. D. Mullens of Sidon, Mrs. J. R. Rutherford and Mrs. T. A. McNamara, both of Vicksburg, 38 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
