Jerry Lynn Noland son of Orville and Geraldine (Babe) Padgett Noland,
passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on February 21, 2021.
Jerry was born June 1, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was the oldest of four
children.

After attending Lincoln High School on June 3, 1960 he joined the Navy. He
served on the USS Eperson and the USS Walker and three “hitches” in
Vietnam. Shortly after leaving the Navy in ‘64 he joined the Boilermakers
Local 83 of Kansas City as a Welder Mechanic. Retiring in 1983.

April 1, 1967 he married the love of his life, Sharon Mayes (Pumpkin). Unto
this union 4 children were born. Jerry was very active in the community. He
was a member of American Legion Post 217 and the 40 & 8. While with Post
217 he served as a Service Officer, Chaplain, Honor Guard, Commander of the
Sons of American Legion, Boys State Chairman, Special Olympics Chairman,
Oracoracle Chairman.

Some of his hobbies included wood working, carving, cross stitching,
fabricating metals, and he loved playing his guitar. He was a Winter Texan
and loved traveling the US with his wife and family. While in Texas he
loved playing music with many Winter Texan friends.

Surviving of the home his wife Sharon Noland, daughter Shari Cunniff, and a
granddaughter Jazmine Holbert. He is also survived by one sister Terri Rogers of
Lawrence, KS, one brother Kerry and wife LaNita Noland of Lake Dallas, TX,
and a sister-in-law Judy Noland of Warsaw, MO. Son Jerry W. Noland and
Michelle of Warsaw, MO. 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, many
nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Larry Noland, one son Ricky
Noland and son-in-law Roy Cunniff.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the River Church in Warsaw. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Graveside services and interment will be held at the Lincoln Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics c/o Reser Funeral Home, P.O. Box 910, Warsaw, Missouri 65355.
