Alvis Porter Teddlie passed away at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center at the age 84. He was a native of Merrimac, Texas. He was born Theodore J. and Lillie Mae Ables Teddlie. He had lived in Reno since 1960, coming from Denver. Alvis was a hotel managerin the gaming industry. He was a member of the Frist Christian Church of Sparks, NV. He is survived by his sister, Alice Zurivitza of Fort Worth, TX; two newphews, three nieces and several great nieces and nephews.
