Edgar S. Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Baker, of this city, died in Washington late Wednesday, after a short illness.
Mr. Baker was about 42 years of age and had been a resident of Washington for approximately the past 25 years though he often visited Fredericksburg. He was a painter by trade.
The deceased is survived by his wife and a daughter, of Charles Town, W. Va., where the funeral will be held and also by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Baker, of this city, and the following brothers and sisters, all of whom live in Fredericksburg, Mrs. Eleanor Jenkins, Mrs. Edna Perry and Mrs. Lou Baker and J. R. Baker and R. F. Baker.
Mr. Baker had a large number of friends in this city who will regret to learn of his death.
