Rocky Deams Royal, 72, of Wilmington died Sunday November 1, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center from complications of a heart attack.
Rocky was born in Warsaw, NC October 15, 1937 the son of the late Deams and Ethel Kivett Royal. He was a retired tool and die maker, member of Wilmington Lodge 319 AF & AM and a member of the Whitey’s round table.
Survivors include his daughter Lisa Royal of Charlotte; brother Kimball “Kim” Royal of Mobile, AL.; sister Jewel R. Hansen of Wilmington; and his special devoted friend Gayle English of Willard.
The family will see friends 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M Tuesday November 3, 2009 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
