Son of William Jasper and Harriet Madeline (Parks) Anderson. George B Anderson was born on the family farm near Salisbury, Chariton Co., Missouri. He met and married Susan "Susie" Hieronymus on Apr 20, 1893 in Pettis County, Missouri. In 1899 he moved his small family to Lincoln county, Oklahoma and tried farming, his father William had moved to Lincoln Co., OK sometime before. By 1903 George moved his family back to Pettis county and was a farmer till death. George B. and Susie Anderson had eight children that reached adulthood. He died of pneumonia and had been bedfast since fracturing his hip on 9/22/1959. He also had hypertensive cardiovascular disease and senility. 88 years, 9 months, 23 days.
