He the former owner of Flippin Body Shop, a member of First United Methodist Church, a 33rd-degree Mason and received his Masonic 50-year pin, a member of Belle Point Lodge No. 20 and a Shriner. Masonic graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He survived by a daughter, Sharon Flippin of Alma; and a sister, Violet Wickersham of Fort Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 320 N. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901.
