William C. Stansell
William Claude Stansell, 69, of 204 Berean Avenue SE, died Friday in an Atlanta hospital.
A retired employe of the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill, Mr. Stansell is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James T. Elder of Atlanta; four sisters, Mrs. Willard Clements of Rome, Mrs. Stubby Stubblefield of Dalton, Mrs. Ruby Smith of Rome and Miss Annie Stansell of Rome.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Spring Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Burdette will officiate. Burial wll be in the church cemetery.

Claude Stansell's Rites Are Held
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Atlanta, for William Claude Stansell, 69, former Lindalcan, who died Christmas Day in VA Hospital 48, in Atlanta.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Stansell was born in Floyd County, the son of the late John Berry and Mary Frances Shores Stansell. A former Pepperell employe, Mr. Stansell was retired from the Fulton Bag Mill, in Atlanta, at the time of his death. He was a veteran of Wold War I. Mr. Stansell was married to the former Ruth Prather (Dickens), who preceded him in death on December 12.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Elders, of Atlanta; five sisters, Mrs. Winnie Clements and Mrs. Ruth Smith, both of Lindale, Mrs. Jewel McCullough, of Rome, and Mrs. Nellie Stubblefield and Miss Annie Stansell, both of Dalton; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
