Mrs. Frank W. Titus, 83, 1503 Villa Ave., died Sunday at a Sioux City nursing home. The former Nicholene Jensen, she was born July 4, 1884, at Mapleton, Iowa. She was married there June 22, 1901. The couple farmed in the Elk Point area until coming to Sioux City in 1951. Mr. Titus died here Jan. 19, 1960. Survivors include five sons, Clarence, Frank H., Howard, Raymond and Jesse, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. John Homer, also of Sioux City; a brother, Richard Jensen of North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Crouch of Wessington Springs, S. D., and Mrs. Mary Thurtell of Inglewood, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home In Morningside.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank W. Titus, 83, 1503 Villa Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home In Morningside. The Rev. Albert C. Schroeder of Faith Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank, James, Donald, Herman and Dennis Titus, and Albert Homer. Mrs. Titus died Sunday at a Sioux City nursing home.
