Nella Luann Ballou, age 64, of Sulphur passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. Luann was born October 18, 1956 in Ashland, KY to her parents Elmer and Wanda Fosson.
Luann spent her early years in Ashland, Kentucky and was a graduate of Russell High School. She moved to Sulphur in 1995. She enjoyed traveling and crafting. She had a genuine love of children and teaching. She taught high school Math at Hamilton Christian Academy and Hackberry High School before later retiring from Sowela Community College in 2017.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Charles Lee Ballou; her sister, Jonda Bradley; brothers, Woody and Mickey Fosson, all of Ashland, Kentucky.
Luann is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Patrick William Ballou; and brother, Clyde Fosson.
