Aaron D. Cortese, 23, born May 5, 1997, passed away on February 16, 2021. Survived by his mother, Billie Jean; sister Cassandra (Rory) Moores and nephew Rhett. Aunt, Sandra (Dr. John) Rea; uncle, Chuck (Denise) Hood; cousins, John (Rachel) Rea, Christopher (Jessica) Rea, Jeffrey (Travis) Hood, Jason Hood, Jennifer (Paul) Palumbo, and Jonna Rea; best friends Luke Quimby, Rhiannon Winch, and other numerous family and friends. Proceeded in death by his father, David Cortese; grandparents Charles “Chuck” and Freda Hood, Saverio “Chub” and Alma Cortese. Aaron graduated from Pueblo West High with a 4.0 in 2015; participated in marching band and the swim team. He was known for his love for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Aaron loved playing UNO and blackjack, known well as a card shark. Camping was one of his favorite activities while with family and friends, plus making smores over the campfire. His orneriness, humor, and infectious smile made him well known to many, inspiring those he met. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
