yesterday afternoon at 2:10 o'clock nt
his home in Moss street. He had l>een
III about 18 weeks with ulcers of the
liver. He is survived by his wife and
four children, Herald, Marion, Edna
and Madallne; his parents, Mr. and Mrs
Otis Chadwick, of this village; ond
sister, Jennie, of Granville, and two
brothers, Frank and Roy Chadwick, of
Sandy Hill. The deceased was a member
of Saratoga lodge. I. O. O. F., and
Sandy Hill Ruling No. 1000, F. M. C.
Burial will be made in Union cemetery
under the auspices of Sarataga lodge,
1 O. O. F.. The funeral will be held
from his home Friday afternoon at
2 o'clock.
Married Amy Elizabeth Hills 1897.and She related story:
"Owen died at an early age. While clearing land of rocks and boulders he ruptured his spleen. He returned to his home and remarked, " Amy I think I have hurt myself" sat in his chair and died." .
