Cremation has taken place under the direction of Champion-Ferries Funeral Home of Sheridan.
Born May 17, 1924, in Chisago, Minn., he was the son of Albert and Inez May Bredenberg; and graduated from Chisago High School.
He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II.
Most of his life was spent in highway construction; he designed and built a tractor, the largest of its time, that drew the attention of International Harvester in 1953.
On Dec. 20, 1947, he married Adeline "Peggy" Krein. They were the parents of two sons, Kraig and Keith; and resided in Winner, S.D., for many years. She preceded him in death.
He and his companion, Rose (Fisher) Porter, moved to Casper, then to Worland. The couple was married May 16, 2004, in Worland.
He was a member of American Legion Post No. 44 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3093.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Virgil of Yuma, Ariz., and Donald of Minneapolis; son, Keith Bredenberg, and his wife of Casper; three stepdaughters, Joey Diers and her husband of Stevensville, Mont., Wendy Case and her husband of Casper and Susan Porter of Casper; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
