Ruth Alexander, 65, a 35-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 15, 2007. She loved quilting, the St. Louis Cardinals, and her home state of Illinois. Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Alexander; father, DB Alexander; and her brother, Dudley Alexander. She is survived by her sister, Carrie Hung of Missouri, brother, Wayne Alexander of Las Vegas; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Bunkers Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church Scholarship Fund, 101 S. Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89106, or to Child Haven-Baby Cottage, 700 N. Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89101.
