Mr. Ronald Lee Gaynor, age 85, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mr. Gaynor was born July 31, 1935 to the late Archie Gaynor and Melvina "Bolin" Gaynor, he was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, he retired as a meter reader/ accounting department for L.G. E. after 40 years of service he loved to golf, tinker with cars and he loved his family. He was immensely proud of his service in the U.S. Navy, and his years as a Mason with Boaz Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 siblings, and his in-laws Vernon and Hilda Hafele. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, sons, daughter, 9 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren, brothers along with a host of nieces, nephews and many dear family and friends. Funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, there will be a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Visitation on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
