Ella Jane Smith, age 86, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
She was born October 10, 1934 in Highland Co., Ohio, the daughter of Homer Bruce and Edna Marie (Karnes) Arnott.
Jane was a 1952 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. She was a member of the Fall Creek Friends Church, First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield and Hillsboro Chapter OES #441.
She is survived by one daughter; two sons in-law; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Smith on February 16, 2005; two daughters, Hobie Blair-Yeakley, Dixie Hazelbaker; three brothers, Gordon Arnott, Scott Arnott, Frank Arnott; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, February 12 at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Friday, at the church.
Social distancing will be observed and masks are encouraged.
