Son of George Buhl, husband of Priscilla Morrey. While George was a young man he lived with his parents in Missouri. According to his obituary in the Monroe Democrat, 21 Jun 1907, he served in the militia during the Civil War. He moved to S. Rockwood shortly after marrying Priscilla and engaged in farming and the mercantile business. He died while visiting relatives in Tennessee and his body was brought back to Michigan to be buried next to his wife. Services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Bitner.
