Bruton R Metcalf
Cambridge - Burton R (Bert) Metcalf, 69, of Cambridge, died Tuesday in a New Orleans, LA hospital following an extended illness. Services will be conducted at 2:30pm Thursday at the Cambridge Baptist Church by Bishop Ferrell Crossley of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser.
The Northan-Jones Funeral Home, Weiser, is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Nov 18, 1899, at Mapleton, Utah. He grew up in Southern Idaho. He married Bernice Adams on April 5, 1927. The couple lived in California from 1942 until 1945, at which time they moved to Cambridge. Mr Metcalf was engaged in farming most of his life.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
