Services for Ogden H. Alger, 85, of 2701 Rose Hill Street, who died, Tuesday, will be conducted at 3 p. m. Saturday at Robison Chapel, Meridian, with Rev. A. M. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn.
Born in Carson City, Mich., May 23, 1877, he married Josephine Houk, Feb. 17, 1901, in Litchfield, Minn. Mrs. Alger preceded him in death in August, 1961. Mr. Alger was a railroad telegrapher until he moved to Meridian in 1910. A retired farmer, he moved to Boise in March, 1961. He was a member of the Christian Church and Modern Woodman of America.
Mr. Alger leaves two sons, Ray K. Alger, with whom he lived, and Russell O. Alger, Lakeland, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Boyd, Wickenburg, Ariz.; Mrs. Beatrice Rene and Mrs. Genevieve Ward, both of Boise; a brother, C. W. Alger, Haverford, Pa., 21 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
