Esther Marie "Cricket" Keller, 80, passed away at 3:56 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born June 3, 1927 in Clay County, she was the daughter of Daniel R. and Arlie Marie (Reed) Jenkins. She was homemaker. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Priscilla "Pill" Bennett and Pat and Steve French, of Jasonville and Joyce Lawhorn of Clinton; a son, Steve Keller of Italy; sisters, Viola Coleman of Fortville, Willadean Cliver of Linton and Marsha and Carey Snellenberger of Jasonville; brother and sister-in-law, Dannie and Beverly Jenkins of Jasonville; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Ethel Rush, Norma Keller, both of Indianapolis, Lois and Rex Miller of Jasonville and Gladys Reece of Linton; 10 grandchildren, Amy and B.J. Robertson, Lori and Troy Fulford, Tina and T.J. Nicoson, Eric and Amber Lawhead, Kellie and Robert Unger, Neial and Jessica Lawhorn, Brad and Julie Lawhead, Kris and Heather Keller, Jessica and Colt Stanton and Scott French; 27 grandchildren, Derrick Bennett, Daniel Robertson, Drew Strange, Cameron Kyler, Kaleigh Fulford; Matthew, Mark, Kelsey, Jonathan, Benjamin, Nathanael and Krista Unger; Alek, A.J., Evan, Macey, Madison and Madeline Lawhorn; Tyler and Cody Armstrong; Cailon, Devon and Chase Nicoson; Kaid and Zain Keller; and Clarie Stanton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herschel A. Keller, whom she married on Oct. 11, 1946, and he died on April 16, 1992; one brother, Junior Jenkins; one sister, Gretta Jenkins; and one son-in-law, Ted Bennett. Funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Monday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Sherman Reed officiating. Burial was in Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
