Earl served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. He then started his 43 year long career with Corning Inc. as an inventory clerk and fork lift operator.
Earl enjoyed many family gatherings and cookouts. His favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together and giving them as gifts.
Earl is survived by his children: Vicky (Leland) Watson of Big Flats NY, Sharon (Lynwood) Bulkley of Campbell NY, Susan (Joseph) Burlingame of Painted Post NY, Barbara (Richard Sr.) Wood of Savona NY and Donna Ridley of Corning NY; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Earl was predeceased by his loving wife: Annabell O'Dell Ridley, and daughter: Bonnie Ridley Thomas.
