Braver, 54, died June 16 at Methodist Medical Center.
A native of Memphis, Braver was a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and had a graduate degree from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pa. He served on the U.S. Shangrala for six years as Lt. Junior grade.
Braver moved to Jackson in 1981 and was a member of the Downtown Rotary Club. He was a board member and youth group advisor of Beth Israel congregation.
Survivors are his wife, Judy B. Braver of Jackson; sons Jay Braver of Athens, Ga. and Lee Braver of Atlanta; mother Ray Braver of Memphis; and brother Al Braver of Oklahoma City.
Memorials may be made to Beth Israel, the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund.
Pallbearers were Lee Allen, Martin Pritzker, Phil Lieberman, Barney Seligstein, R. Don Williams, Macy Hart, Ira Rubin and Al Braver.
