John DeBroux, 65, Green Bay, was welcomed into eternal peace on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He was born in Green Bay on June 25, 1950 to Arnold and Bernice (Stein) DeBroux. As a student at St. Matthew Catholic Grade School, he was a mass server at the church and was honored to serve mass at the Bishop's home daily. He graduated from Green Bay East High School and then earned a degree as a machinist from NWTC. Throughout his life he held many different jobs, including time at Gardner-Denver, Renco, Enterprise Machine, Brown County Library, Bay Shore Park, and most recently at St. Vincent Hospital. On May 15, 1982, John married Carol Knorr. John enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He took great pride in his Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed road trips with his friends and especially with Carol.

John is survived by his wife, Carol; his mother Bernice DeBroux; siblings: Jeanne (Bernie) VerHaagh, Mary VerHaagh, Connie (Becky) DeBroux, Rick DeBroux, and Janice Besaw (Godchild). He is further survived by Carol's brother Mike (Kathy) Knorr; her daughter Jennifer (Brad) Lloyd; and her grandchildren, Victoria (Josh) Henkel, Josh Lloyd, and Lilly Lloyd; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arnold DeBroux; brother-in-law George VerHaagh; godchild Scott VerHaagh; Carol's parents, Roy and Cordy Knorr; and her brother Jack.

Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the church, with Rev. David Pleier presiding. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com
