Suggested edit: William Briggs married Lucinda Snow in 1837. Together they had 7 children: Orrin, Catherine, Caroline, Perry, Bubbe, Betsy, and Lydia. Lucinda passed away in 1858 and William then married Sarah Jane Bacon in 1859. Together they had 5 children: Emma, Fannie, Nettie, Arthur and Albert. Albert was born when William was 62 years old and William died 2 years later at the age of 64 leaving Sarah a widow with 4 children ages 2 to 15, one child having died as an infant.
