HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Louinda Isabelle "Belle" Carter, 86, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Mack Carter officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carter died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 17, 1915, in Tennessee to Henry Burnett and Alice Rawls Burnett. She loved gardening and growing flowers. She was a homemaker and the widow of Earnest Clifton Carter and the mother of the late Donald Carter and the late Bonnie Kizzire.

Survivors include four daughters, Wonnie Segars of Danville, Mary Lee Lynch of Montgomery, Dot Ward of Hartselle and Laverne Foster of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
