Ellis A. Benjamin was a retired bricklayer, engaged in the construction business for 50 years.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. E.B. Cotton of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Gertie B. Eames of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Etta M. Alexander of Montgomery, Ala.; and four sons, Enrico A. and Louis O. Benjamin of Chicago, Ill.; George Benjamin of Baton Rouge and Earl H. Benjamin of Los Angeles, Calif.
