Tuerffs Child Dies Today
Sharon Sue Tuerffs, age 12, died early this morning at her home, route 5 Anderson. She had been ill the past two years.
Born Sept. 22, 1942 in Anderson, she was the daughter of William M. and Martha Wright Tuerffs.
Survivors include the parents, a sister, Deborah Jo, age 2 and a brother, William M. Jr., age five months, the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Z.M. Douglas of Dewart Lake, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Tuerffs of Alexandria.
The body wwill be returned to the family home from the Gipe, Williams and Kyle funeral home in Alexandria, where friends may call after 1 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon.
Funeral rites will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the residence in charge of Rev. H.L. Lanahan of Anderson.
