Funeral rites were held today at the James R. Garlick chapel for Albert Leroy Luce with Rev. C.H. Stephens officiating. Cremation followed at the East Lawn Cemetery.
Luce a salesman for the Levy and Zenter Produce Company of San Francisco, died yesterday at the Sutter Hospital after a long illness. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World. A native of Lincoln, Calif, aged 44, he had lived in Sacramento for a number of years.
The deceased leaves his widow, Mrs. Ida May Luce; a son, Jack Luce, and a brother, William Luce.
