Bobbie Bray Tolbert, of Holley, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the age of 90.

She was an active member at Holley Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family and enjoyed worshiping and serving her Lord and Savior. Bobbie was known for her good cooking. She used her gift of cooking in her profession as lunchroom manager at Gulf Breeze Elementary. Upon retirement, they split their time between living in Cherokee, North Carolina, and Holley.

She was an active member of the Santa Rosa Creek Tribe. She loved to attend the monthly gatherings and especially loved to dress in regalia and attend the Pow Wow. She was a kind friend to all, a prayer warrior, and a devoted, loving wife and mother. She will be deeply missed.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Penson “Tony” Bray, and mother, Myrtle Grimsley Bray; brother, George Frank Bray; sister, Julia Bray Lukers; and brothers-in-law, James Macon Harvell, Jr. and Leon Lukers.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond “Pick” Tolbert; two sisters, Edna Harvell and Tonilee (Randall) Blankenship; sons, Steve (Pam) Tolbert, Ricky (Betty) Tolbert, and Clayton (Kathryn) Tolbert; daughters, Rose (Steve) Mistovich and Becky (Chuck) Houghton; grandchildren, Gail (Tony) Poland, Ray (Michelle) Tolbert, Barry Tolbert, Krista (Gary) Mitchell, Chad (Lalo) Houghton, Shawn (Ashley) Mistovich, Tracy (C. J.) Gibbs, Clay (Amanda) Tolbert, Brandon Mistovich, April Mistovich, Laura (Kevin) Bardin, and Sheila (Jeff) Ferrell. She also leaves to cherish her memory, nineteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her legacy will live on for generations to come.

Services to honor Bobbie will be held at Holley Assembly of God Church, on Friday, February 12, 2021. Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. -1:00 p.m., at the church; and the Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Harper Cemetery in Holley. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Lewis Funeral Home of Navarre has been entrusted with arrangements.
