On Monday, September 9, 1918, at 4:45am Margaret Powers Fowler nee Cable, widow of John Henry Fowler died. She was 60 years old.

Funeral services will be held at her late residence in Hoboken,Pa., on Wednesday afternoon Septmber 11 at 2 o'clock.

Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

Margaret P. Fowler was the wife of John Fowler. The couple married about the year 1883.

Margaret had at least 5 daughters with John; Annie in 1884, Emma in 1886, Martha in 1888, Margaret in 1893 and Jessie in 1899.

She died of September 9, 1918 of TB at age 59.

Margaret Fowler -

Born February 21, 1859, the son of Edward Cable and Sophie Carr.

She died in O'Hara Township on Freeport Road. Her death was caused by tuberculosis of the bones of her spine and hip joint on the left side, with acute entero colitis a secondary cause.

Buried Sept. 11, 1918 from the Holzheimer & Bock Funeral Home in Sharpsburg.
