Mrs. Anna Collins Parker, native of Montgomery County, passed away in Hattiesburg on December 3rd. Funeral services were held at the chapel of McGahey and Lott Funeral Home on December 4th with the Rev. Leslie Nabors and the Rev. W. M. Hull officiating. Interment was in New Hope cemetery.

The widow of W. W. Parker whom she married in 1891, Mrs. Parker was born in 1871. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church.

Mrs. Parker is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Zenoba Adams, Meridian, Mrs. Annie Bell Bailey, Duck Hill, Mrs. Sue Shirley, Vaiden, Miss Blanche Parker, Pine Bluff, Ark., Mrs. Ruby Whisnant, Jackson, Mrs. Orleil Thompson, Hattiesburg; one sister, Mrs. Pink Blaylock, Winona: four sons, Tillman Parker and John Parker of Winona, W. W. Parker, Jr., Duck Hill, and Taylor Parker with the Merchant Marine; a brother, D. T. Collins of Winona; 73 grandchildren and 115 great-grandchildren.
