Steven Scott Blackburn, 59, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 08, 2020 at his home. He was born in Dallas, TX, to the late Donald Odell and Peggy Yates Blackburn and was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Blackburn. Steve worked as a Lead Man at Parker Hannifin for 26 years. He attended Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain. Steve was a jack of all trades and an accomplished carpenter, designer and builder. He enjoyed working with his hands and took great pride in the appearance of his lawn and garden. Steve loved fishing, especially at the coast and passed his talent onto his loved ones. He enjoyed cooking for, and spending time with his family and loved ones. Steve was an integral part of Dance Reflections, from remodeling the studio, building props or simply helping the dancers with any of their needs. He loved traveling the Southeast with their family owned business, Epic Dance Showcase. Steve was a wonderful, selfless, thoughtful and loving husband and father. He will be missed immensely by his family and friends.
