Notes~ No stone has been found for him. His burial here is based on the DC which states he was taken to Flackville, Indiana (Flackville is a small community located in the area of 30th St. and Guion Rd. in Marion County. The cemetery is nearby.) Also his parents are buried here.

1900 U. S. Census for Flackville, Decatur Township, Marion County:
Manuel Bain, 28; Wife, Georgia A., 26; Children, Minnie M., 4; Hazel A., 2; and Jesse H. Bain, 5 months.

Indiana State Board of Health Certificate and Record of Death No. 12, page 13, for Monrovia, Morgan County records Emanuel R. Bain, white male, age 29y, 9m, 4ds, a Day Laborer, and married, died about 3 p.m. on June 12, 1901, of "Acute Meningitis." He was the son of Simeon P. Bain, born in Morgan County, and Louisa Mahoney [sic- Dehoney], born in Madison County. His mother Louisa was the informant. Burial was at Flackville, Indiana, [Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery] on June 14, 1901, Brown and Carlisle of Monrovia, undertakers.
