Mrs. Margaret Ann Chapman Attkisson, 67, a resident of Elk Ridge Road in the Watts Hill Community, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Attkisson will be conducted Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 10:30 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy McNeece officiating. Burial will be in Watts Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Floyd Harold and Christine Alexander Chapman and wife of the late Lewis Martin Attkisson. She was a retired CNA for Heritage Manor, a homemaker and a member of Spencer Hill Church of Christ. She loved quilting and gardening and collected hummingbirds and angels.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Stanage of Watts Hill Community; five sons, Wade (Jo Ann) Attkisson of Summertown, James (Dolly) Attkisson of Watts Hill, Kenny (Dee) Attkisson of Osage, KS, Ronnie Attkisson of Watts Hill and Donnie (Carlos) Attkisson of Summertown; a sister, Vondell (Dewey) Sanders of Bellville, MI; three brothers, Floyd Harold (Martha) Chapman, Jr., Wallace (Faye) Chapman and Henry (Linda) Chapman, all of Watts Hill; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Chapman.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Attkissson, Jake Attkisson, Corey Stanage, Jason Stanage, David Chapman and Patrick Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Spencer Hill Church of Christ.
