A very special lady was born in Logan, Nebraska on July 17, 1921 to Carrie and Raymond Butler. She moved on from this world peacefully in her sleep while lying next to her husband and life long partner on October 14, 2007.


She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 67 years John R. Mayne, Sr., sister Jan (Dale) Bailey, son John R. Mayne, Jr., son David R. Mayne, daughter Pamela S. Mayne (Ann), son Michael R. Mayne (Deanna), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Peterson, her dog 'Little Guy' and other family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who have had the privilege to know and love her. Thanks goes out to all who sincerely cared for her these last five years.


There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E.
This will be followed by an interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S.
