Alice Juanita Elizabeth Joslin of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on July 24, 2005 at the Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 19 days. She was born on October 5, 1916 in Chaonia, Missouri, a daughter of the late Ruben Green Whitt and Clara Elizabeth Neal Whitt. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband, Aaron Pete Waltman, who passed away on December 31, 1981 and her second husband, Harold Lawson Joslin, who passed away on November 20, 2004; two sons, Ronald Lee Waltman and Clyde Aaron Waltman; a sister Bonnie Jane Whitt Waltman; two brothers, Ralph Columbus Whitt and Clyde Monroe Whitt and one grandson Ronald Wayne Waltman.
Those who remain to mourn her passing include her daughter Bonnie Linda Jane Waltman Radford of Potosi; her sons, Bob Ralph Ruben Waltman of Pahrump, NV and Ricky Dale Waltman of Des Arc, MO; her son in-law Fred Howard Radford; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; 2 Sister-in-laws - Flossie Beatrice Eastridge Whitt & Thelma Matilda Waltman Stepp Moore, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. on July 27, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Curtis Bill Warren officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Rick Waltman-son, Rick Radford-grandson, Dan Porter-grandson-in-law, David Veach-grandson-in-law, Jeff Will-great grandson, Fred Howard Radford-son-in-law and Glen Ruble- family friend. Interment was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
