Tom was a British rock climber and alpinist. He was the son of the late mountaineer, Alison Hargreaves who lost her life on K2 on the 7th August 1995.
Tom started his climbing career at a very young age.
He was the first mountaineer to climb the six major alpine north faces solo in a single winter season.
Tom sadly lost his life in 2019 whilst climbing on Nanga Parbat, Pakistan along with fellow Italian climbing partner Daniele Nardi. They were last heard from on February 24th. Their bodies were located the following month on March 9th.
