J.E. VINSONHALER PASSES TO REWARD
John Edwin Vinsonhaler of 427 Wabash avenue, passed to his reward Saturday, February 27, at the age of 69 years. Mr. Vinsonhaler had been ill for a number of years, suffering from cancer and other ailments. He was born in Mayhill, Ohio, where he grew to manhood. In 1894 he moved to Indiana and from there to California in 1914.
He married Kathryn Stoops on September 23, 1885. To this union was born four children: Ernest of Orange, Calif.; Wendall of Inglewood, Calif.; Mrs. Ernest Fusco of Westwood, Calif.; and Mrs. Grace Wilson. The latter died ten years ago.
He united with the Church of the Brethren in 1884 and passed away rejoicing in his faith.
Besides the children named, he leaves his devoted wife, six grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon, February 29, in the Glendora Church of the Brethern with Rev. H. M. Brubaker officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale cemetery.
