Mary Ellen was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Bio-Medical Communications at The Ohio State University and retired in 1991. She then married Charles (Pat) Patton in 1991 and moved to Tennessee. Pat, who affectionately referred to her as M.E., survives along with two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig & Barbara and Jeff & Julie; three step-sons and wives: Jeff & Angela, Jon & Suzanne, and Joe & Tanya; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by son, Bruce Taylor Belton (b. 6/8/1946) and brother, Paul Taylor. Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 721 Church Street, Jefferson City, TN with the Reverend David Strickler officiating.
The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
