Clayton E. Adams, 84, of Daly Road, LaFayette, died Monday after being stricken at his home.

He was formerly employed by Harden Furniture Co. in McConnellsville. He retired in 1964 after 20 years with the firm.

Surviving are a daughter, Lillian Doane of Oneida; a son, Clifford of LaFayette; a sister, Wilda Adams, and a brother, Page, both of Mexico; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sanborn-McDaniels Funeral Home, Camden, the Rev. Leonard Bergman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today (July 18). Local arrangements are by Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully.
