Georgene Small of Putnam Valley, NY, formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009. Georgene was born on March 5, 1948 in Croton-on-Hudson to Joseph and Margurite (Bollinger) Nuttall . She worked for the County of Westchester for the past 20 years most recently as a Staff Assistant with the Department of Mental Health in White Plains, NY. Georgene is survived by her son James Pettit, her daughters Stephanie Bale and Tracy Pettit. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jamie and Owen. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 8:30 PM also at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 10th at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
