Angela Spanola, nee Amari, age 86, passed away suddenly at her home on February 3, 2021. Angela was the beloved wife of the late Sam; loving mother of Tom Spanola, Gina (Nick) Spanola-Sandowski and the late Kathy (the late Robert) Broccolino; dearest daughter of the late Kathleen and Joseph Amari; cherished grandmother of Lisa Spanola, Bobby and Anthony (Jenny) Broccolino, Rachel (Tom) Shields and Samantha and Nicholas Sandowski; great grandmother of Christian Cardenas, Gianna and Anthony Broccolino; dear sister of Frank (Mary), Leonard (Donna) and Joseph (Terri) Amari; fond aunt of Katherine (Jason) Amari-Odell, Laura (Steve) Jaglarski, Julie, Nina and Joey Amari, Valerie (Cia) Sarvin and Phyllis (Mark) Brooks-Hamrick. Angela worked for Delta Airlines for over 20 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org/donate/donate-memorial would be appreciated. Memorial Visitation, Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of a 3:30 p.m. Memorial Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 25 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and use proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home. The inurnment will be private at Montrose Cemetery in Chicago.
