No formal service.Reed Hennon passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at the age of 92 from the effects of COVID.

He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, as the only child of Gladys and Ray Hennon.

He married Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Allen on Feb. 5, 1949 and raised three daughters, Becky Nicholson, Janet Jo Bauer and Beth Ann Hennon.

While Reed made his living as an electrician, servicing clients across many counties in Indiana, his passion was the great outdoors. Reed loved fishing, hunting and walking in the woods. He also loved playing pool in his youth and later in retirement.

Reed lived most of his life in Roachdale, moving to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas in retirement with his second wife Barb Miller. The mountainous national forest area of Arkansas suited Reed’s love of wilderness, and he spent many hours in creeks and rivers fishing and forging trails in the woods for the local Audubon Society. He joined a local pool league and sharpened his skills in the game that he had loved from his youth.

If he wasn’t enjoying nature or playing pool, he was fanatically working puzzles, another fond hobby he mastered.

Reed was preceded in death by his parents and spouses, and leaves behind three daughters; three sons-in-law, Gary Nicholson, Stuart Bauer and Robert Lowe; three grandchildren, Greg Asher, Amber Greene and Jamie Kellett; and three great-grandchildren.

As a private man and to honor his last wishes, no formal service will be held. You are invited to visit www.serviesmorgan.comwhere you may leave an online condolence for the family.
