Shirley Jean (Stidham) Lambert, 83, of Big Stone Gap, Va. went home to be Lord on January 19, 2021. Shirley was born June 11, 1937 in Pardee, Va. to the parents of Claude and Gertrude Stidham.
She loved the Lord and being surrounded by her family. Shirley was a devoted member of Abundant Life Apostolic Church and loved her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one unborn child, a great-grandson (Preston), two brothers (Harry and Harold), and one sister (Sue), father of her children Charles Lambert.
Shirley was blessed with, and is survived by, 5 children: Charles Jr. (Amanda) Lambert, Linda (Glenn) Lawson, Randall (Rhonda) Lambert, Laura ( Kevin) Krecmer, and Susan (Roy) Chandler. She was also blessed with 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Shirley dearly loved her honorary sons, Pastor Barron (Annie) Duffy and Bro. David (Pam) Vanover and her honorary daughter Sis. Miranda (Rick) DeBoard.
Shirley is survived also by her siblings: Franklin (Paula) Stidham, Gerald (Edith) Stidham, Linda (Jack) Herron, Judy (Don) Hollyfield, Claudette Flanary, Roberta Stidham, Brenda Givens, and Kim Stidham.
