A memorial service for Sharon Rose Shoemaker Nellis, 60, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Center. She was cremated.
Mrs. Nellis died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born May 12, 1943, in Lawrence, the daughter of Cecil Shoemaker and Ruth Shoemaker Carlson.
Mrs. Nellis was a 1961 graduate of Lawrence High School and was an active 4-H member. She was a certified nursing assistant who specialized in home health care. She was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, Nicholas Vaughan, Lawrence; and a sister, Beverly Roberts, Lawrence.
